It will be a crazy season for a draft. Might want to load up on TML players.

I heard Farhan Lalji talking yesterday and he said canucks D will have 2 of 4 playing here this year Juolevi Rathbone Chatfield or Rafferty. I think it is a really good idea to see what they have.

I would say same with Hoglander . Give him a spot on the third line and see what you have.

I know last season got derailed, but I'm running the same pool for this season. $100 to the winner to use to donate to a charity or if you wanna hang onto it for yourself for beer money that's fine too.

PM if you played last season and are in again for this year or if you missed out last year and want to join this year.

Benning said before that "long term" prospects will spend the year in Utica.

Mandated to win usually, an older line up would be a less bumpy road travelled.

Prospects will really have to shine to crack the line up.

Sources say the 5 provinces have requested additional testing procedures, or have asked the NHL to consider a “bubble” model. If bubble isn’t an option for NHL, sources say a delay to start of season has also been suggested. The NHL is working on a response. Ongoing discussions.

Are borders closed again in all provinces?

People have been going in and out of provinces all year for work. It's not as if they are interacting with the public.

This is there job, not as if they are going to the rink for beer league, going to a buddy's house for a beer, off to a different job and back again. Well at least I hope not.

*their* job

There will always be a market for 6-foot-4 defensemen who can skate well, and Mukhamadullin certainly qualifies. The pGPS (prospect Graduation Probabilities System) system that Jeremy Davis developed tags with an 84 percent chance of making the show; it's the seventh-highest figure in this class.

Team Canada has lost its captain. The Chicago Blackhawks may have lost their young star. After taking an awkward hit yesterday during a pre-tournament game, Kirby Dach has been ruled out for the World Junior Championship according to Bob McKenzie of TSN. Though team doctors are still assessing the injury and the team has not yet officially announced it, McKenzie tweets that not only will he miss the WJC but Dach is also expected to miss NHL time.

Sh itty. That looked like a broken wrist injury, or at least similar to the one I had, in a very similar situation, many years ago.

It really is to(too, two)bad, the kid looked impressive.
Chicago has themselves a nice hockey player there.

Next up, Tomasino, another fine player who will help fill in the gap left by Kirby.

Absolutely, if BC doesn't support the NHL's proposal, I'm okay with that.

Sucks for him for sure. Chicago doesn't care, they already said they're rebuilding like the Rangers did..... didn't they?

👍

As I mentioned the other day, the health professionals will question the nhl protocols, which is what most would expect from a responsible health team.
I did find it a bit ironic that Dr. Henshaw was the one who sent out the letter to the NHL, representing the 5 provinces with nhl teams...maybe that province is finally starting to get it.

What exactly does Public Health have to do with professional sports, that isn't entertaining fans? Hotels are still open, flights are still happening, take out for restaurants.

Providing exemptions to highly paid athletes is not good optics. Hotels are open and running at about 10% occupancy, most likely for essential workers. Most provinces have fallen short of an out right travel ban but in case you have had you head stuck in the cookie jar for the past 10 months, travel is restricted to essential only.
