Some of the comments in EK's blog about Canada running up the score.
Like (frank)....
It's just one extreme or the other.
One guy from NJ said in his youth league once a team is winning by 7 goals. The clock doesn't stop.
I think that's a not bad idea. It's not as if you can't run up the score, it just lessen's it a bit. - manvanfan
Dumb idea. Some of these players will be playing pro in the next year or so and you want to make rules like that? How about just bringing a team over that is respectable.
As a Canucks fan since 1970, I am just wondering from some of the GOOD fans, is it okay if I don't like everything the Canucks do, or if I don't like some of the players they draft, sign or trade for.
Please let me know, so I can become a GOOD fan like you snowflakes.

What's dumb is thinking that a single game in a year is somehow going to change a player that has "pro potential" in some way.
Remember when I said it's just one extreme or the other.
Every heard of that middle ground? - manvanfan
I don’t understand where the middle ground is? What are you proposing, that there is a rule that a team has to stop trying once they’re up by a certain number of goals? Like Vantel (a good fan), I think the Germans should bring a team worthy of competing or don’t bring a team or be happy with losing by double digits.

Did someone on twitter come up with "good fan" and "bad fans" now?
Has it just replaced the Benning bitters or Benning Bro's?
Like I said. The game middle of the 2nd period Canada goes up say 9-1. 8 goal difference. From that point on, except for Commercial breaks, the clock doesn't stop. The game doesn't end, Canada doesn't need to stop trying. The score ends up say 12-1 and not 16-2.
Did you honestly stay glued to the television during the 16-2 win yesterday?
I know the next thing will be is there really a difference between 12 goals and 16. Yeah it's 4.

“To build a team that is not only cohesive, but productive, it's important to encourage everyone to share their ideas, feedback, and constructive criticism. The result? Bigger, better ideas.
The driving force behind a great team is often the ability for team members to work together, give feedback, and constantly innovate.”

That's like some games being worth 3 points and some worth 2

I didn’t watch, I don’t really give a poop. What’s the emotional difference between losing 12-1 and 16-2? Do those extra 4 goals make the players feel worse? It sounds stupid to me. Should NHL games be run time in a blow out? How many goals do you consider a blow out?
I don’t think they should change to rules so millennials like you don’t have hurt feelings.

It went downhill when some clowns started suggesting we use rules for 10 year olds .

Even in minor hockey (house league) they don’t change the rules. They still keep score, the clock still stops. The only difference is that they don’t post an ever growing score on the clock.

What does the World Junior Championships have to do with the NHL?
