it's good that they've had this type of game, now there are fewer chances they underestimate another team

no I think you gotta give a lot of credit to SVK... still some things that need tweaking, the PP doesn't seem to be clicking that much yet

One must remember, in "most" Euro/Scan Countries, Hockey is at least third in the food chain behind Football and Handball and a host of others.

After trying to shed money for months, BriseBois must have felt relieved after finalizing that trade. I feel bad for Paquette and Coburn...from the pinacle to the pit in a hurry

Considering they both suck and will continue to get paid, i don't.

Anders Nilsson? He has to be in the team photo for the suckiest player to be traded multiple times.

Safe to say the Gallagher-Danault-Tatar line remains intact, at least to start?

And then what? Suzuki centering Anderson and Drouin?
Kotkaniemi with Toffoli and Armia... Lehkonen, Evans, Frolik and Byron making up the 4th line?

Weal on waivers and Poehling in the minors (whatever that will look like)

Hopefully Poehling has a big camp and he really shakes things up, I'm sure he has plenty to prove...

Yup those are my exact projected lines from a couple of weeks ago. With no time to experiment, no choice but to go with the proven line and the Drouin-Suzuki chemistry, as for Toffoli, he’s been asked if he can play left so thats a good hint that he’s thd one who’ll move to that side plus Armia is a better offensive player than Lehkonen so it makes sens that he rides with Kk. Lehky’s lack of finish will hurt less on the 4th line

After looking it up, here’s what i wrote on December 19th:

What does this mean for the Canadiens? Well, we’re not 100% sure yet if they will be able to play their games at the Bell Centre and the lack of exhibition games is seen by many as a disadvantage for the Habs. Surely, it’s the same for everyone right? Yes, in a way, but the Canadiens have made substantial line-up changes which will require some adaptation. In light of this, I fully expect Claude Julien to stick with combinations that he knows work together. The Tatar, Danault, Gallagher line will no doubt be back, the Suzuki and Drouin duo should be too after the budding chemistry we saw in the bubble. As I’ve said it before, I’m guessing Anderson will take Armia spot on the right of the sophomore centre. On the third line, I’d guess Toffoli-Kotkaniemi-Armia and on the 4th, I’d guess Lehkonen-Evans-Byron. For now at least, Poehling is taxi squad material. On the blue line, I expect the Chiarot-Weber pair to be back, maybe the Kulak-Petry one as well meaning that Romanov would start on the third pairing alongside veteran newcomer Joel Edmundson. Of course, these are just my guesses but soon, in just over two weeks actually, we should see if Claude Julien agrees with me. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait!

Makes sense, right?

I still think Bergy subtracts a player sometime in the near future, maybe even 2!

And with the C depth they now have, Poehling should be playing the LW if he manages to get his sh!t together this time around... if Drouin flops (if? lol) Poehling may find some success alongside Suzuki and Anderson

HAHaha I love that! I’m back just to say that I was right.

Perry will be a perfect 4th/3rd liner vet. Guy is big, use body and can drop gloves if needs. With Ottawa filling goons, we will need all the big men to play up front if needed.

Love the signing! Frolik and Perry.
I guess we are done now unless Matt Martin :D? Lol
