Perry is 35, not a centre and not soft like marshmallows
- manvanfan

I think Perry would help in the playoffs . I don't think Habs have enough scoring to get there. Him and Frolik both had 5 regular season goals . Habs top center had 12 ,Drouin had 7 , Anderson 1 .

Many said Corey Perry was toast too but man did he help Dallas in the PO's?

Two defencemen lead the Stars in PO scoring, their forwards are all tragic, ok not tragic but certainly declining, including Perry....who had 9 points in 27 games.

Benn is 31 and declining, Pavelski is 36 and declining, Radulov is 34 and declining, Seguin is just coming 29 and declining from living like a rockstar.

Miro Heiskanen though....

For Toronto Maple Leafs? Thornton and Speeza are 3rd and 4th line centres.

Toronto keeps talking about improving their defence, except they keep looking at it the entirely wrong way.

They did add Hobey Baker winner Jimmy Vesey but he's still not as good as our Hobey Baker winner Adam Gaudette.

Write down that I think he'll be out of the NHL and in Europe somewhere by next season.

When everyone was making a big fuss about signing him years back - the kid was overhyped & had a bad attitude.

Team USA not really a powerhouse as expected. Turcott Zegras Boldy probably busts

Funny tournament, Canada not really dominating either with a really strong lineup. Sweden looks to be the best team thus far.

Brink reminds me of Brendan Gallagher, always poking around the front of the net. Zebras and Stutzle both having great showings thus far.

I can see Zegras as a standout. He would be my vote for most likely to succeed in the NHL

Cozens has a bit of the Ron Francis game in him, he’s not really flashy but he’s really smart and collects a bunch of points. Stutzle is gonna be a #1 center in the NHL for many years!!

Aren't we only supposed to pump the tires on Canuck's prospects?

Sounds about right. A handful (4-5 ) players at these tournament turn out really good and the rest fall into complimentary players. Pods will never be a star but he will be a guy that gets Bo the puck.

Lefty is a bit rogue in that regard. It gets Booner's delicate undergarments in a knot.

I haven’t watched Podkolzin play much, but when I have, he’s been just ok. I’d like so see him against NHL competition.

Ferraro taking a shot at Pod;

“When I see Podkolzin I don’t see a great point generator”
