I was thinking the same thing. As a Canuck fan, I’ve always hated playing that team. When I had season tickets, heading to the rink for game night against the Avs was like a funeral procession.

If he lights it up its just the WJC's don't put stock in it. If he gets blanked out like his team he's a bust. It doesn't matter does it. I just look at his play with the puck and away from it. If its NHL worthy he'll make the Canucks and then the long Bo like grumblings will begin. But like Bo Podz will earn his role on the roster.

I didn't watch tonight or the 16-2 game. I don't find it entertaining . If there was Canuck prospects on the team I would probably watch.

The tournament needs to cut a few teams so you don't get games like these but no way in hell change the rules of the game in blowouts.
