If he lights it up its just the WJC's don't put stock in it. If he gets blanked out like his team he's a bust. It doesn't matter does it. I just look at his play with the puck and away from it. If its NHL worthy he'll make the Canucks and then the long Bo like grumblings will begin. But like Bo Podz will earn his role on the roster.

I am not impressed with the Russians at all. I think with better wingers like Bo and Pearson it will be higher point production.

I do miss the old Russian skilled teams. It was some of the best hockey ever when Canada and USSR were powerhouses.

Russia has only 1 right hander in the game. #18
