I disagree about being deep but is not our problem . They have Danault listed as the top line center. I look at that as desperate not deep.
They ship out 17 goal Domi and bring in 1 goal Anderson. - VANTEL
Right everyone looks at what they brought in but not what they shipped out.
Van fans only care about what went out and not what came in. |

I’ve Danault as 3C & a good shutdown C.
The kids will get top 6 play imo. I like Danault a lot. Anderson stats go out the window. See how he recovers from an injury season. Was a big risk that contract. |

The projected second line of Suzuki Anderson and Drouin combined for 21 goals last year . That is just three more than third liner Jake Virtanen. - VANTEL
Yet JV is dogged for his lack of doing anything lol.
Anyway, the HABS look desperate, like the Sens, not to be push overs and they believe they got a shot to edge out the Jets and Flames.
I think the top talent and team balance in the division is among the Canucks, Oilers and Leafs the latter two are top heavy and Canucks better balanced. The rest will battle it out for the last play-off spot. |

When will Jake see the ice protecting a 1 goal lead late in the game?
That answers why he’s not counted on.
He’s not a fit with Bo in a shutdown role.
-He doesn’t score enough but can.
He’s a liability on the 3rd line but productive.
Gaudette doesn’t help his cause.
Leaves the 1st line for him imo.
Having to be carried makes him a passenger.
3rd wheels need to be good on the details. |

Didn’t say LATE in the game lol
How hard is it for Jake to make sure LE never sees top 6 minutes? |

I kind of like the idea of trading a better younger cheaper player for one of the best role players in the league that year on a cheap contract like TB did.
Well, wife's car battery was dead so I had to drive her to work and I missed the end of the game but Overtime now |

Yeah, they were 6th and 11th in PP GA/60
Guess who was first? OMG TYLER MOTTE
I did narrow it down to 2 minutes plus per game on the PK.
Motte played 100 minutes less than some of the top guys.
Carl Hagelin and Nic Dowd were 2 and 3
Mark Jankowski was 10th best and he signed for 700k
Beagle only PKer in the league to avg over 3 minutes per game.
He was 25th but a lot of those guys were a full minutes less per game.
Sutter 27th ahead of Danault at 37th.
For reference Horvat and Miller were in the 10s in only 40 minutes of PK time. Where Beagle and Sutter were in the 6s in 166 and 100 minutes.
Low is better Motte is like 3.43 |

That is correct . The other games he was not good enough to play in the NHL and was sent down.
