No we can just keep blaming Laine, he is obviously everything that is wrong with this team.

I'm personally getting fed up with the "apparent" Laine situation. When he doesn't score , shoots wide, etc...he comes back to the bench with those pissed-off childish tirades and beats up on himself. Then we hear he is not happy with his linemates. Then he wants to be on the first line, etc, etc. As a coach and a player, I can tell you that players that behave like this are hard to deal with and most teammates don't like to watch it either. Then Chevy has to fly to Finland to do what he can to appease Patrik including trading for Statsny.
The guy appears to be a high maintenance project and comes with a sky-high ego to boot. I can certainly say he isn't exactly winning over any fans with these " supposed" trade demands. It can be a cancer on the team. I was elated when we drafted Laine and he performed so well, but that love affair has slowly diminished to the point that I'm beginning to view him as an ego-centric selfish kid who doesn't like it when things don't go the way he would like. If Chevy can get some decent reasonable value for him then sayonara Patrik !
Otherwise.....grow up and start acting like a man Patrik and demonstrate to the team and the City of Winnipeg that you are not some whining immature kid.
