There hasn't been many waiver claims over the years that have improved too much after being claimed.

I would have liked to get Dmitri Timashov for free from Toronto for claiming Corrado but Detroit picked him up.

Further to Rick's report, Canucks tell me Ferland will still do a physical with team doctors (via Zoom or similar). Would have to be deemed unfit to play before he could go on LTIR.

That he's not travelled to Vancouver to take his physical tells you just about everything.
