Or score in more than one game... or get points in more than 2 games. He's doing everything I said he could do well in spades though.

That totally reeks of a third line, defensively responsible, checking forward.

I would assume they’d retire back in Thunder Bay as Staal’s wife is from there as well and part of a tight knit Dutch community. All their relatives are there. I assume that’s important to them?

I love my family, but if they were in Thunder Bay, and i was a rich NHL player, I'd be visiting, not living there haha - that place is an absolute poop hole.

You know Brandon Sutter’s only played 50 playoff games in his career, and 17 were last year for Vancouver, his first playoff games as a Canuck. So over half his playoff experience was last year, just surprises me given all his time with the Penguins.

After your Podkolzin third line comments you are now down to 12% or a quarter of the time.

I drove through in the Summer, I was legit scared walking around haha - we did listen to a podcast about the murders and corrupt gov't they have. It's by Canadaland, its a good listen, but man it's bad out there.

They have nice cabins. Lots of really rich people have cabins around there. It's really beautiful. Thunder Bay is a poop hole though.

They have 6 methadone clinics for 100k people.

Even MB only has 6 in the whole province.

Buddy was telling me about the corrupt mayor.

Hells Angels have a big presence there.

Philip Broberg kinda reminds me of Nick Lidstrom in that he’s very methodical with the puck, should be a great player for Edmonton.

Goal scoring is over-rated, games are won and lost on analytics.

Could have been Edlers replacement but we did get the third best player in the draft .

It’s always fun to look back and see who got it right and who totally messed it up. It’s way too early to say imo, that McMichael kid Washington took looks good, and then there’s Zegras at #9, who knows.

I have learnt over the years there are no good Canucks prospects. They are all headed for careers of failure until they get traded . Then they become legends.

That’s from 50 years of futile drafting, when I was a young kid, and into my twenty’s, they couldn’t draft to save their lives, and when they did, they usually traded them away.

Now, you weren’t a Canuck fan back then, so I totally understand how our history is somewhat lost on you.

Thats hate. That's pathetic. How dare you after he had a multi point game against Austrian teenagers.

He'll be a good Canuck. Just not the kind of player I would seek with the 10oa...

That's the question, what do Canucks fans expect from a 10oa pick?

you know I was joking, he’s a good young player. I don’t think he’ll be a 30 goal scorer but he’s got skills that any team needs. An Alex Tanguay type of player who can dish the puck but plays a heavier game.
