I am ok with them bringing in Hamonic, although I want to see some of these young defenseman get some opportunity. Juolevi will play and hopefully 2 or 3 other young guys get an opportunity.
Time to see who to cut bait with or who is in the future.

Rathbone's ceiling is much higher and overall his potential long-term is higher for me too.

I can't say i've ever seen anything that would even remotely give Rathbone a higher ceiling other than OJ being injured all the time.

How I see the roster starting to shake out, not necessarily what I’d like to see. Lots of competition on that right forward side... hopefully someone can surprise and oust a Sutter or Beagle. I think Hamonic is an upgrade on Benn on the bottom pairing.

I said before free agency I think Canucks will replace Tanev and Stecher. I thought they would trade BB or JV to upgrade for a second pairing Dman and sign Hamonic to replace Tanev's stay at home style.

It only cost us a third round pick instead of Jake or Brock ( Damn Jim is good). A few of us also discussed Canucks swooping in on a cap struck team and making a steal while others on here complained about cap problems.

I am telling you now Canucks are going to make another huge move in 2021 that will make them a top contender , regardless of the outcome of this season.
