How I see the roster starting to shake out, not necessarily what I’d like to see. Lots of competition on that right forward side... hopefully someone can surprise and oust a Sutter or Beagle. I think Hamonic is an upgrade on Benn on the bottom pairing.

At least on forwards if you sit LE and Sutter and with Leivo gone. Leaves Boeser/Gaudette as the softest forward.

I'm not even sure why you are laughing? Why would any team trade a pick for a player if this was the case.

I don't think you are allowed to kick in the NHL so not sure about Gaudette's fighting ability. They mentioned how he played PK at NE and was pretty successful at it.

They obviously want him to round out his game more this season since he was pretty poor defensively last season.

He was a player in college that was not physical but aggressive/hard worker. He's going to have to be smarter in the NHL to succeed more.

I am siding with you on this one. I think fans get too caught up in what players do at these tournaments playing against other kids.

Like I mentioned last night Dach does great at the WJC and scores 8 goals on the Hawks and that is at times playing with Patrick Kane. This year is not going to be much better for him with that wrist. Did you see the photo of it? It looked like a Z.

Byram is a great Junior player but The Avs may have a soft D too. I love Quinn Hughes but I think you need a good mix of players . I am curious to see what OJ will bring.
