Thanks Carol!

Right back at you Reuby you little maggot. A midget and stupid as (frank). Tough combination.

Back to hockey, I can’t recall being this excited for training camp. We need some Canucks to get through what should be a tough few months

The thing that pisses me off with TB is today they are well over the 10% allowable exceedance . The may be compliant when they put the players on LTIR but today they have bent the rules and should face a similar recapture penalty.
- VANTEL

The recapture penalties will be changed as soon as Weber or Parise or Sutter are ready to retire, in 2 more seasons, just when Luongo's recapture penalty is off the books.

Thanks Carol.

You morons should read about how waivers work, it will save pages and pages or nonsense in the future.

Enlighten us . A player can be claimed if he is sent down on waivers . A team can save up to 1.075 mil or a part of it. What else is to know?

Players won’t be on waivers “every” off day. They go on waivers once, if they clear they can go up and down as often as the team likes until they play X games or Y days have passed.

Well a lot of people more familiar with the Cap seem to say there will be movement between days off but I guess we will see

I’m not saying there won’t be movement, what I’m saying is that those players will only be on waivers once (per 30 days, or whatever the exact rule is).

Ten games or thirty days. The cap break still applies .Aside from the fine print there will be a lot of activity by a lot of teams juggling the roster to save cap space . Most of the players being put on waivers could be put on waivers 365 times a year and still no one will touch them.

There will be some interesting names being sent down.

You are correct, unless they changed those rules as well. It was 10 games and 30 days.

I agree, nobody is going to claim Sven when he’s waived for the taxi squad, only that he will only be waived once (per month). They can recall him on a game day and “send him down” after the game every day and he won’t be “on waivers”.

Hoping to get back to the finals in 3-5 seasons. JB has built a fantastic core to get this done just have to round it out.

2023 is their year. All the bad contracts will be gone and they can be major players in free agency

Nice I see an MG moment coming for JB where he adds the final ingredients to make the run. Much in the same where MG Added Hamhuis Torres Lappy Malholtra Ehrhoff Samuelsson Higgins and Rome

There is no need to wait them out though. Bo JTM and Schmidt are in prime years . You wait for contracts to expire and it gives you one year of prime age and controlled contracts.

We seen that for a second you can move a Loui type contract next year . There are some big name free agents next year and if it only costs me a second round pick to do it then I'm in.

Canucks will have about 28 mil in cap space next year . If you sign Petey and QH for 7 mil and Demko for 4 on bridge deals then you are in excellent shape. Pods Hog OJ and others will all come in on cap friendly contracts.

Thanks Carol. So if the Feds exempted the NHL with the quarantine rule why are the players you mentioned doing it to where they could miss Canuck camp?
