I like what TB did. It just shows me that people shouting NO CAP SPACE really don't know what they are talking about.

You might be the only person to like the idea of having Pettersson sit for months to make cap space.

Everything you can go off of is on capfriendly which has zero association with the NHL. Knowing exactly what TB has done, they do not.

Whatever fits your narrative though right?

What I do know is that on Jan 13th Canucks will have either a new addition to the team or 2 mil in cap space.

Either way it still means no cap issue but hey lets say there is to rile things up.

The best part of you arguing with me right now is that you were talking about Sutter's time coming to an end.

I said "no cap space, can't re-sign him" (meaning, I don't want him back)

To which you then made cap space (this season even though he is already signed for this season) to re-sign him the way TB has done. Even though you were in favour of replacing him.

Caught up?

Yeah, i'm really learning that you have to spell everything out very clearly so the West provinces understand.

Arturs Silovs has had some travel hang ups so now isn't expected to arrive in Vancouver till Monday, which means his quarantine window will expire *after* the season starts. But Canucks still want him in North America.

Thinking/hoping that NHL 2019 draft turns out to be a good one for the Canucks

I've been watching Podkolzin a bit today and I keep coming back to the same thought he plays a very mature game, he is very rarely out of position I am intrigued to see him in the Canucks lineup. I tend to agree he is defensively responsible enough to play on Bo's line now, bumping Eriksson to the press box or wherever. He can control play on the boards something Lui doesn't do well.

Thinking the same thing.

His ability to extend shifts in the Ozone, creating extra chances and holding the puck so they can even get line changes in.

He’s definitely a North-South type of player, stick skills are not outstanding by any means but has other good attributes.

That little Florian Elias is always in the mix offensively for the Germans, he’s only 5’8” tall, he’s their version of minivan, always in the mix

They had 9 selections, if 4 of them make the nhl, what percentage would that be?
