I don’t understand how with all the snow birds, you can’t get a more consistent crowd. They’re not particularly good, but they have some good pieces to watch. I’d probably have Panthers season tickets if I lived in/retired to the area full time or during the winters.

You know what really gets my goat? When I see those advertisements and then the Panthers come to town on a Monday night and I can’t go and then sell the pair at a loss. Ugh

They have sent a few emails (the latest a week ago) basically saying they have nothing to repoert.

We were going to do this a year or 2 ago. Head down to Tampa bay or florida for 2 days. Flight, hotel and tickets for 2 of us was like $600.... plus you get a couple days of sunshine, and you know the beers are a lot cheaper.

Unless you find your way to what they then called the Bud Light Party deck or something. I don’t know that it’s still there. It’s outdoors off of the balcony and has 2$ beers and 1 dollar hotdogs after the game. The beers are tiny, but what the hell.

They gave us two options:

1.) keep the money you paid for this year with the Bruins, they give you 5% APR until the month when a game (pre-season or regular) is played at TD Garden for the 21-22 season. I did the math and if it’s in September than I’d get like $250 or something. They’ll also lock in your ticket prices for the next year and playoffs. For all of this you have to renew for 2021-2022. If there are no games played where I can attend, the money gets applied to future seasons.

2.) refund, don’t commit to next season, price increase likely.

I feel a bit held hostage by it, because I’m keeping my seats anyways so option 2 makes no sense for me. It will be frustrating when they (probably) start payments for the 2021-22 season in March and I already paid for 2020-21 and have nothing to show for it.

The last time I went they had a someone walking up and down the aisles and selling beer. I thought perfect I don’t have to get out of my seat. Pass $20 down the row, the guy goes you have $4 change. It had to pass through like 8 people’s hands so I was like keep it.

That was my last first and last beer.

Also I was thinking along the lines of going to a Walmart and picking up a whole case for like $20. Way cheaper then here.

Yeah that party deck pricing was only after the game. During, everything was more or less in line. What’s it like 20$ for a tall pour at the ACC? Something like that right? Probably 16$ in Tampa. That’s roughly the ratio anyways. Probably about 20% cheaper
