The last time I went they had a someone walking up and down the aisles and selling beer. I thought perfect I don’t have to get out of my seat. Pass $20 down the row, the guy goes you have $4 change. It had to pass through like 8 people’s hands so I was like keep it.

That was my last first and last beer.

Also I was thinking along the lines of going to a Walmart and picking up a whole case for like $20. Way cheaper then here.

Yeah exactly. I believe I was fine with the beer prices at the ACC, or Canadian Tire Centre now, because it was cheaper in absolute terms and when you factor in the fx even more so.

Don’t get my wrong, I t’s still wild what they charge, but people pay it.

Hanifin for DeBrusk?
- mr.sir

Oof.

Ah, maybe. We’re in serious need of some LHD help, so that’s my main hesitation. Otherwise I’d probably say no thanks.

I personally think DeBrusk is due for a real breakout season either this year or next and I feel like Hanifin has disappointed a bit. So even with the need at LHD, I think I’d pass.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong about Hanifin, but I personally expected more from him.

It's why I don't like Ben and Jerry's. It's half-filled with other poop. I just want ice cream. I can add stuff to it if I want. Haagen-Dazs is the best. I do like the peanut butter chocolate though.
- Zezel

Ben and Jerry's isnt even real ice cream.

My girlfriend makes homemade ice cream, i can be delicious when she doesn't put crunchy stuff in it.

You fail to see that you are the main reason for the toxicity. Your endless trolls, trying to get reactions in hopes of being relevant are tiresome. I’ll be better if you promise to be better.

Having a foolish opinion sometimes isnt trolling.
Having a non blue koolaid opinion of leafs matters isnt trolling.
Constantly pooping on willie can get a little trolly after a while. Lol

But name calling is definitely toxic.

The way I feel, as long as something does not directly infringe on someone's body or property, by definition, it is not a crime. If people want to say vile poop, unless it's libel, it's not a crime.
- Zezel

I have to side with the people who would like to see maybe more control in place over what can and can't be said. It should be a crime to promote hate, because history has shown us that that does infringe on someone's body or property. Even if the effect is indirect, it is real.

Yep, Trump was openly musing about punishing SNL of all things for mean skits. He would easily define criticism of HIM as 'hate speech'. Exactly why all speech should always be allowed, because a government comes along who decides this speech over here that I don't like is now labeled as harmful, because I said so.
- Zezel

and that becomes another aspect of government that will be considered when voting.

Im not going to be a homer, im not sorry for not always agreeing with everyone about this team. I love this team. I dont cheer for individual players, just the team. I dont hate Willy, just that the Leafs dont need a $7mil player on JT's wing who doesn't commit to a strong defensive game. He'd be worth that on a team that needs offence, but the Leafs desperately need defense and i think once again, it wasn't addressed. The window wont stay open forever, they cant keep wasting time. They missed the playoffs, thats not good.

Trump supporters are threatening to kill people at this Jan 6th Stop the Steal rally.

Im sure nothing will come of it, even though they are already murdering people.

Let's focus on our common ground here. Nylander is underrated, and Dubas is a visionary.
- Zezel

I think Nylander is a valuable piece that needs to up his game, mostly in the give-a-sh1t areas.

The jury is VERY much out on Dubas. We really don't know how his midget drafting strategy has worked. Tavares was NOT the free agent the Leafs needed. The Nylander contract is so-so. but the Matthews contract is a bad term and the Marner contract is poor also. Dubas also has not addressed the defense. He made a huge mistake with back-up goaltending. They have had zero playoff success on his watch. The Kadri trade looks horrible in hindsight.

I won't list the good things he has done, because listing the things above is more than enough to indicate that there is good basis for question.

Pubicly uttered threats of death or inciting violence should carry a heavy penalty. Hate speech should also be illegal. These things tend to normalize beliefs or actions that are ultimately damaging to a society.
