That’s so Leafy that it will probably happen. - shack67
Honestly, this is a year for this team to truly show up. The old guys don't have to play a full season so they should see this as a real chance to win a championship. Just under 30 games they don't have to play and travel will be lighter for them.

I dunno. This season is going to be so unpredictable based on the All-Canadian format, the length of the season, and a myriad other pandemic factors both seen and unforeseen.
I'm not expecting much but remain cautiously optimistic.

And who gets to make that decision. You?
The ACLU got it right in the Skokie Case. Cancelling bad ideas is a direct violation of freedom of speech.

In theory thats how it should go.
In practicality, it'll only lead to violence and more and more people will get involved.
Whats going to happen on Jan 6th is a bigger rally than the one prior, and the one before that and so on. These ideologies are past the point of logical debate.

Wrong. They are never past the point of logical debate. Terrible ideas will always resurface and need to be tested.
Sunlight is always the best disinfectant.
I don't trust you, the government, or anyone else trying to tell me who deserves a platform and who does not. That is the road to tyranny which is far more terrifying than any bullpoop Alex Jones could possibly muster.

Never saw them live. Often wondered how awkward that would've been...
Been to a Frank Zappa gig where he acknowledged the crowd 0 times though. Weirdly enough that's one of the concerts I'm most happy being at - 21peter
I saw Fever Ray a few years ago and Karin Dreijer (better known, perhaps, as one half of The Knife) came on stage in what could best be described a Vorlon costume right out of Babylon 5.
As the concert proceeded, bits of her costume were removed until the very end where she finally looked human.
Not a single acknowledgement was made to the crowd throughout the whole process.

Ok Santo.
I tried. This is something straight off the JRE podcast.

RIP Florian Schneider.
Saw them once live and it was (frank)ing awesome. I think they may have acknowledged the crowd only once -- at the end? So damn cool.
One of the rare bands who had zero influences but were almost peerless influencers themselves. - mjones242
Saw them once at Massey Hall, was a great show. I would think they had some influences, but they were innovators, designed and created their own instruments.
