Yeah that’s pretty surprising. Although, with Nylander and Tavares on that same line, it might just work. Tavares carried some absolute plugs on Long Island, so him and Nylander could probably compensate for Vesey.

I still can’t believe the Bruins traded Thornton. Especially considering what they got in return. I do, however; wonder if they win the cup in ‘11 or some other year if they kept him around.

Ya I don’t hate that line...Matthews is going to have a ton of goals with some playmakers on his line.

Marner might even be able to pot a couple from Thornton.
