True, but you'd think that they'd rather put a 3rd good player on that line and make it even better. - GreatGigInTheSky
Vesey had 16, 17, 17 goal seasons on the Rangers without playing with guys like Tavares and Nylander. He gets 20. By Christmas Easter. |

And yet people tell me his contract is a "Steal". He denied nothing in that quote. |

Hmmm maybe upfront...on paper.
Yet to play a game...dunno if it will be reality.
D...not so much |

I’d argue they have good depth on D, but do they have enough at the top-end? That remains to be seen. |

Most contenders don't have guys like Sandin,. Dermott and Lejtonnen fighting for time on the 3rd pair.

Agreed. You could argue that he is confirming he wants out but his attitude is going to be that of a good player/teammate blah, blah.
Wonder if he was doing that secret hand symbol during the interview that women are suppose to do when being in danger and held captive? |

The average age of that line would be 29. Leafs have to get younger. |

No surprise here. Dubois will be a great addition to any team. With the deal he signed, he would be a good fit for the LA Kings, if he's willing to go there. His deal expires in two years as do Carter and Brown's deals.

The life expectancy of that line is the second scrimmage. Don’t worry about the age of players that come in on one year deals. Worry about older players that we’re committed to.
Or worry about Willie being too pretty or JT being a snake.
Or don’t worry about anything.
