They are significantly better than last year. Nothing wrong with playing one rookie. Especially when a stable vet like Hamonic will be flanking them.

For those of you who might have missed it - at the beginning of last year EK had a blog that asked something like "who was/is the best rookie after the first two weeks of the season and PROCK said it was Ville Heinola over Hughes and "it wasn't even close" - a game later VH was sent to Manitoba, then shortly after to Lliga - hopefully that brightens someones day. Happy New Year.

Over Podz yes... but you do your destined for NHL bottom 6 impression as well as Lefty sliding the goal posts on his predictions.

The forward group is almost identical . They will not have Leivo 7 goals 19 pts and of course Toffoli 6 goals 10 pts added at the end. They finished 9 th in regular season scoring.

Hamonic is an upgrade on Stecher, I agree, he won’t lose so many puck battles, offensively Stecher probably better and he’s quicker.
