That's OJ/Rathbone. You got to see the D changes as a whole not picking narratives. - NuckUp
I hope Rathbone turns into a diamond, haven’t had one in awhile |

Hamonic is an upgrade on Stecher, I agree, he won’t lose so many puck battles, offensively Stecher probably better and he’s quicker. - Pacificgem
So you admit hamonic is better than stecher. Obviously you realize Schmidt is significantly better than Tanev. Hughes should be better. How is the D not improved? Benn > than OJ or rathbone? I think not |

OJ is better than Stecher for moving the puck. Stech is better in his own end that OJ so a bit of a wash .
Stecher average 3 goals a year 18 pts in his four year stay. He had a muffin shot also. |

I think the D will be tougher to play against. Also, more scoring from them. Hughes will take a step. Schmidt will get his points. The rest is gravy. - Load Management

You said they’re “significantly better”, I don’t think they are, top four is, bottom guys are a big question mark. |

How can you possibly say that when Juolevi has one game of NHL experience |

If they sign Hamonic yes...haven’t yet. - Pacificgem
He is signed to pto, benning likely has something in place already. Bob Mckenzie(i think?) or someone discussing it me tioned this as being the likely scenario |

I don't think Edler will be able to keep up in this division, as he gets slower every year, that is a downgrade from last seasons Edler. |

Over Podz yes... but you do your destined for NHL bottom 6 impression as well as Lefty sliding the goal posts on his predictions. - NuckUp
You are the one bringing up Podz bottom 6 not me so (frank) off clown.

The joking around that Holtby and Schmidt had today was great. They looked like a bunch that actually enjoy their job. Holtby's last comment was I warned as many guys as I could about Schmidty.
Schmidt Holtby and JTM are going to add to the leadership. - VANTEL
I saw the leadership they replaced being interviewed in their new Red unis. Made you realize the difference in goofy loser vs cool have been there before winners. |

This D is an upgrade, i agree. JB has quietly had a good offseason and only gave a 3rd up to do it. I just hope the Hamonic contract isn’t too much. |

The funny thing is there is no one on here that complains about moving draft picks more or collecting them and you are also have no trust in playing draft picks. Why do you want draft picks if you never want to give them a shot to play?

He may play on the 3rd pair. Certainly a possibility. Less minutes for sure which will help him |

It is a one year 1 mil contract . They need to submit their roster first.

Don’t often agree with this guy as he has spent the last four years whining...but interesting article - speaks to EP40’s 200 foot game and the impact it has. Also speaks to Benning’s plan to create a team built for the playoffs by accumulating players that have skill but are “gamers” and are committed to the details.

I have no idea what you’re talking about, I want them to play, I just won’t say with absolute certainty they’re NHL good until they prove it. 90% of the people on here proclaim a Canucks draft pick an NHL star just because they were drafted by the Canucks, it doesn’t work that way. |
