really? the one question that most of us have about petey is his size and flowing from that is his durability.

we've seen him get thrown around and knocked off the puck a lot.

it's logical to look at his weight when most of us believe that his biggest drawback is his strength.

this was an example of precisely why petey was not selected as captain. it was a normal question that gets asked of many players during the first couple days of camp every year.

the fact that he got so offended shows his personality (and it's not a bad trait for a competitive professional athlete) is not suited to be in front of the media on a daily basis which is why he isn't a good captain for today's media/public relations game.

The conditions to send him on his way are finally ripening. The lag being the uncertainty between the bubble playoffs to a new season is catching up on LE's lifeline time here.

In all fairness he flubbed it again when things mattered in the play-offs. He burned his last chance. All hands were needed and he got all the opportunity in the world and played himself off the roster.
