Lots of positivity out of Wednesday's scrimmage, as Hoglander looks like he has an inside track to make the big club.

If the Canucks hit on yet another draft pick, and we see Demko & Juolevi move into meaningful roles this year, I think we're into an unprecedented period of 'draft and develop' success in franchise history...

He was almost captain of the knights . Or the players vote I read somewhere. Clearly he was well liked in their room of alphas

SN650 both agreed there was not much there with Hoglander in the first . Faber thought Hog looked very good and even posted two clips of very slick passes in the first. Not seeing the game I don't know who was right but the passes did look very nice.

They were raving about Hoglanders game. Penciled him in for opening line up. Post game show was mostly about Hoglander. I listened to pre game, game and post game.

Agreed. It will be interesting.
Given how many overpriced vets Vancouver has , I’d assume they will have the likes of Beagle, LE, Benn and Baertschi on the taxi squad - players that can slot in for injuries with the hope of them being picked off waivers.

In saying that, if an American team puts someone compelling on waivers, I wonder if the 14 day quarantine would impact on decisions to sign someone.

100%. We will benefit in so many ways from Schmidts attitude and positivity. It will spread through the room like a cancer and the kids will pick up on it.
