I really like really good Russian players and such, but I watch a lot of junior hockey all over and nobody does junior development and competitive organization like Russia does.

It is weird, in my opinion it encourages bad habits and stunts growth past a certain talent levels.

I can see from like a point of view of a person that's sole purpose wants to see the kids developed better but from a business, league perspective. I'm sure they are doing just fine.

Russian hockey isn't developing players for the NHL.

Edit: Maybe they should have a transfer agreement like other Euro leagues and they would.
