"Protesters" - by which we mean white domestic terrorists - stormed the Capitol building. They evacuated all staff. The crazies have taken over the Senate floor, all offices.

A woman has been shot. 5 others have also been taken to hospitals by helicopter, including at least one police enforcement officer.

One of my favourite little pubs in Boston is called the 21st Amendment (that's the one that repealed prohibition).

It's a small, quiet little place to grab a pint, across the street from the Massachusetts Capital Building.

I was watching about two hours delayed and just fast forwarded. I lived four blocks from other side of Capital. This is so (frank)ed up and so predictable. I used to study in the Library of Congress across the street.

You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. (Laughter/applause) Right? (Laughter/applause) They're racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic – you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people – now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive hateful mean-spirited rhetoric. Now, some of those folks – they are irredeemable, but thankfully, they are not America.
