You keep repeatedly making this statement as if it is a fact. It is not.
A sitting US Senator made this statement.
""By any measure, the allegations of fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election exceed any in our lifetimes," Cruz said.
There is widespread evidence. Overwhelming evidence of fraud in the election. It cannot be disputed. The only question is if legal votes are only counted. would it change the outcome.
Your claim that it is an attempt to limit minority voting is not only asinine but insulting to minorities. - MJL
Stick with hockey. Your comments above are propaganda. Propaganda is defined as a one sided political argument using charged images and language. Everyone knows you. You have a good knowledge of hockey and I appreciate how you stick to the facts and are not shy about calling out thoughtlessness. I see that you get really annoyed at people who lack facts and evidence in a hockey discussion. Your knowledge in the areas of history and politics, however, appears shallow and narrow based on your comments. From EVERYTHING I've seen from local officials, state officials, the Justice Department, the courts, there is no evidence of widespread election fraud. By the way, minority voting suppression is real. It's not asinine. It's not insulting to minorities. I suggest that you research the Voting Rights Act of 1965 sections 4 and 5 and the related Supreme Court case of 2013. Get familiar with the concept of "preclearance" and the motivation of getting rid of the requirement. The Supreme Court case was 5 to 4 and neither side referred to the other as asinine. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are not the guys to ask whether there is minority voting suppression. Instead, just ask some black people who have waited in line three hours to vote. We're done. |

Ghost and Provy back in the saddle again. That should be your top pair until they show it isn't working. Will the coaches do it? I seriously doubt it. |

They have tried numerous players with Provy. So it isn't surprising they tried Ghost. I do not think he will stick with it. |

Fine, I will give you a comprehensive response. Grr. 😂😂
1. You consistently minimize the necessity of the precautions taken because of Covid. 2. Thought for an absurdly long time that it was nothing more than the flu and possibly still do.
3. Cannot see the significance of something yesterday that was headlines the world over, all of which said the same thing.
4. Did not see several earlier posts yesterday where I clearly condemned summer violence right before something mistakenly caught your eye.
5. Cannot see that saying protests were "mostly" peaceful and caused immense damage is not inherently contradictory.
6. Constantly talk about reading original texts of the constitution and do not know the difference between "you are" and "your".
7. Have trouble forming sentences that are coherent.
8. Have trouble seeing that none of the above is addressed by repeatedly making assertions of winning Internet arguments that you constantly seek out with me.
9. Have trouble seeing that whether you think I am afraid, an bumhole, or both is neither positive, nor negative to me. It literally means nothing.
10.That whether you respond, do not, or how often, and what you say will also mean nothing.
11. That this does not make me think ill of you. On the contrary, I am a well wisher.
12. That none of these are words of anger.
13. That I have tried to tell you this, less directly, many times in the past.
Good luck.
🤗 - PT21
Oh it must be so painful to actually reply to a post.
I don’t know who you assume your talking to but you have so many things wrong it’s laughable.
1. On covid I never called it just another flu. I have said that lockdowns do not work. I have questioned the use of masks and their effectiveness.
I have railed against media etc for not promoting actual real doctors who have found real treatments for covid. These same doctors were summarily dismissed.
2. Addressed above
3. Makes no sense whatsoever
4. I commented on your post yesterday. I do not have any interest in scrolling through your wrong think deciphering your verbal diarrhea.
5. Is this the mostly peaceful where buildings were burning in the background?
Stop with the mostly peaceful narrative.
It’s a media talking point and tech companies actively pulled and deleted videos and reports of violence.
6. Petty nonsense you might not want to get into grammar policing. I’m not a English professor and even I see either errors or autocorrects in posts you have made.
Is this really a point to counter argue what I posted earlier?
7. Again your air of superiority is laughable.
8-10. I will continue to address things that are not right or much of the context is left out.
As far as the rest goes. Maybe you are a good guy maybe you are not. I can only go by what you write in this forum.
There are probably some things we would agree on. I just don’t remember seeing that yet.

You have a reading comprehension issue. I did not in anyway state that minority voter suppression is not real. What I did was dispute the claim by PT21 that the goal of the Trump campaign in disputing the election was to suppress the minority vote. That is asinine and insulting to minorities. You've just made an idiot of yourself but I haven't interacted with you much so I'll give you a pass on this.
In PA alone, over 700K mail in ballots that were not requested by the voter were counted. Those are illegal ballots. Ballots that were received after the close of the polls in PA were counted. Those are illegal ballots. A USPS contractor testified under oath that was instructed to pick up a truck with 24 pallets full of mail in ballots in upstate NY and delivered them to PA. This is just a small sample of the evidence that you claim does not exist. |

Love that for 5 on 5. With the loss of Niskanen, would hurt the PK in my opinion.

Anybody seen any info about an NHL Center Ice package on Xfinity for the upcoming season? The Xfinity site has only this very helpful information.
The NHL® has cancelled remaining season games
Check back for updates from the league on a proposed 24-team playoff.
PS: a streaming version won't work for me because my ISP assigns me IP addresses that make it look like I am in-market when I am clearly situated in the NY television market. Went through that debacle last season, not going there again. |

Sorry, but your argument that was not any voter fraud is wrong. I don’t understand how hearing over and over that for example in Pennsylvania that the state Supreme Court changed election laws is not permissible.
Ballot harvesting is illegal.
Extending mail in ballot counting has to be done by the state legislature. Therefore those ballots would be illegal.
In multiple states mail in ballot signatures were not verified which is required by law.
In Georgie there is documentation of mail in ballots using fake addresses, dead people voting, people that had moved sending in mail in ballots either by themselves or someone else.
Post office employees were told to back date ballots and affidavits were signed to testify to this.
In Georgia much the same the Georgia Secretary of State does not have the authority to make agreements with groups to change voter laws.
In Pennsylvania there were more votes cast than people that were documented as having voted.
What is the explanation of this? There was no curiosity by state officials to investigate.
In Pennsylvania there was ballot curing that is illegal.
How does every anomaly in this election fall in Biden’s favor?
There are counties in battleground states where voting machine thumb drives are missing.
If you can’t validate voting by paper trails then you are inviting major fraud.
In many states both Republican and Democrat poll watchers were not allowed to observe ballot counting as required by law.
I’m not even going to get into math experts analysis and seeing major red flags and anamolies.

These guys have conjured a world where things like institutions, evidence, reasoning and standing are items on a menu you order a la carte. Those who treat them like mandatory parameters are elitist snobs.
Maybe we should just dispense with courts, doctors, even weather reports. We will choose what information we want to hear and from where.
Beyond the nutjobs, I believe it comes from a deep sense of feeling undervalued and insecure in the world. Conspiracies are the equalizers for cowards. - PT21
I do have one question that you might be able to answer....because to me its at the crux of the whole "election cheating" accusations.
Did the Dems or republicans mail out ballots to people they new or hoped might vote for them with out be asked to by that individual?

Democrats and Republicans are not sending out ballots to anyone. Ballots come from the local governments (state election offices).

No comprehension issues on my part. The end game for disputing the election will be to enact restrictive voting measures. Just wait and see the laws that come out. Voter fraud is statistically insignificant. Laws passed that negatively impact minorities in response to a red herring problem are unjust. Again, nothing but name calling and more propaganda from you. You gave me a pass? Thank goodness. |

In PA a mail in ballot must be requested. There is also a way to sign up to get one sent to you automatically.
Partisan operatives do not send out official ballots, only absentee ballot applications. The state officials send the official ballots to the individual.

because if mail in ballots are being sent out without the individual asking for them that can't be seen as a good thing. Ok...I will ask question a different way. Did state election office send out unsolicited ballots to people in their state for the purpose of having that person mail them back? if so how is one person picked over another to receive the ballot...obviously this is not a thing in Canada. you can ask for an absentee ballot but there are hoops to jump through that make it very time consuming. Our country prefers people to show up with photo ID at assigned location....we do have an advanced voting day, but that it.

My wife and I received about 4 absentee ballot request forms each in the mail. We didn’t ask for those. How hard would it be to take these and request absentee ballots?
States must stop absentee ballots or make it almost impossible for fraud.
It’s not a conspiracy when it’s out in the open.
The point you made wasn’t being asserted by myself or MJL to my knowledge nor did you address the real problems that are fact. |

I would like to join others in thanking you for posting this. I would also like to add something to what others have said.
MJL and people like him are not going to be personally persuaded by anything you say, no matter the tone, logic, or empirical validity. There are many structural explanations for this. However, if the purpose of the exercise was personal persuasion, then we might as well have started arguing over PMs.
I think it is important for the median poster, the lurker, those who may not be active participants, those whose minds are not completely closed, those who are impressionable, to learn of well-articulated, logically stated viewpoints.
Many, indeed most, intelligent and reasonable people have simply gone away from large swathes of public discourse in social media and society. Such abandonment has national consequences.
Please do not think your interjections are futile. Reasonable people tend to underestimate the power of reason to those with open minds, and the # of them. Unreasonable people tend to overestimate the power of irrationality. |
