I was responding to Pres. having Schmidt on PP2. - manvanfan
Schmidt, who was acquired in a trade from the Vegas Golden Knights on October 12th, is regarded around the league as a puck-moving blueliner who can put up points. He played a similar role in Vegas on their second unit, and should be a fresh addition to the Canucks’ lineup compared to Alexander Edler or Tyler Myers.
The arrival of Schmidt brings a plethora of scenarios. On one hand, he could be the piece that finally moves Edler off of the second unit. The veteran blueliner will turn 35 in April, and could benefit from reduced minutes to maximize his current potential. On the flip side, Green could decide to utilize a more traditional line combination and have both of them in the mix throughout the season. Both are viable options, but a decision will need to be made soon. |

How tasty. Trump suspended from Twitter, and about to be impeached, again.
Wonder how big of a meltdown he's having right now.
Wonder how big of a poopstorm this is going to cause |

I don’t think it’s that straight forward. If you want to see how politicians vote then you have to understand the bills or acts presented and what’s in them. Here’s a web site that shows how American politicians vote:

One must be care about accusing people of narratives... - bloatedmosquito
She doesnt have a great record on Medicare thats for sure. Pretty much status quo on anything she voted yes for but look at how much she abstained or voted no for moving forward. She really is a corporate shill POS. Thanks for supporting what I said. I owe you one. |

You mean the same Pelosi that is against healthcare for all?
She's a corporate Democrat... she's not for the people.

People need to forget the media Democrat narrative and look where these politicians stand when it comes time to vote on bills and military action etc... then you see there is not much of a line between them and the Republicans. - boonerbuck
Very true. Serious question...do you forsee a war coming with the Dems running the show? Histories of war mongering as well... |

Pelosi is definitely not a progressive. I mean, I'm sure there was a time when she was, but in this day and age she isn't.
One thing I absolutely HATE with US politics is the riders to bills. Oh, you want healthcare for everyone? Well, we'll just attached these riders for bank deregulation, lower corporate taxes, and some other poop. Now you're voting against the bill because of those things? How evil of you to not want healthcare for all. |

I can only name one who has actively withdrawn and deescalated from active wars. And it's not Obama who escalated the done program and NSA secret death programs....
The narrative is real, I will lead it to you too guess who? A hint... it's also not Billy Clinton. |

It is not only US politics that does this, The BC Liberals, under Gordon Campbell would do the same thing. It is cheesy politics, by any government to do this. |

Until people have more than only 2 serious political parties to choose from, you will continue to get poop.
The Dems & Republicans are both terrible. You're simply choosing between a lesser of 2 evils... yippee.

True, Trump did not start any wars. But he also withdrew troops that stupidly put Americans and allies at risk, and allowed other nations/groups to gain larger footings.
And which narrative are you talking about? |

Like I said, and you proved, she is against any advancements in medicare in the USA. She didnt even support the bill acting against fentanyl. Has to protect Big Pharma...

I just visited capfriendly and realized lucky loui still has another year after this. 2021 instantly took a turn. For some reason i thought this was the last.
Also just watched Schmidt mic'ed up ... haha he's even more awesome than advertised. Feels like that old timer / dad just so into shinny. I bet he would pull up alongside LE with a 'hey big cheese'. Somehow making 50k more than me. - Sayros
Yeah why Canucks should send LE this season to rot in Utica and see if he lasts there.
Canucks haven't had a high profile D with Schmidty wit and banter since Bieksa. I'm more intrigued by EP's banter he's not a monotone Swede. Good group this season to keep the benches lively. |

That's exactly my point. Booner just looked at the first page of five (roughly 150 health bills voted on in all) that have a couple of "did not vote" and he thinks that supports his narrative. Yet he has no idea what's in those individual bills.
A number of heath care acts had anti-abortion legislation in them to get Republicans to vote yes. She is a long time pro-choice advocate. Hard choices to make.
Anyway, I'm not advocating for Pelosi, I'm advocating for dropping this whole "narrative" BS. |

Progressives in her own party call her what she is... I'm sure they know whats in those bills that she votes opposite for.

His supporters claim that:
He's been extremely supportive of the military. Wrong
He rebuilt the military back into what it should be. Wrong
He reduced oversea troop deployment. True
He removed the ridiculous terms of engagement that bogged down the military in the fight against ISIS. True but...
In reality, trump reduced checks and balances surrounding airstrikes during the Afghanistan conflict. It resulted in a 95% increase in civilian casualties. Here's the link to that fact:
