Interesting Rafferty over Chatfield for today’s NHL-like practice by Canucks. They are fighting for depth spot, but this would be change that could mean difference between making 23-man roster or not.

Raffy offers up a skill set Canucks could probably use more the 2nd PP guy.

One thing that Jeff Patterson said today was he heard talk of Rafferty not being defensively responsible , but he didn't see any indication of that on Wednesday.

I agree I did not notice him last year as a liability and I seen him play every game last year.

Any more talk on Hogs today?

Don't really see the need unless he's so much better then Myers/ Edler on the pp to compensate for his defence.

He's not knocking either of the top 2 off the pp.

I could see Rafferty or Boner being called up to replace one of the offensive Dmen and Chatfield to replace a stay at home D.

Hopefully he’s teaching the kids his patented PP zone entry drop pass from centre ice. Lol.

I think he’ll be a useful vet this year, but I’m stoked he’s pushed down the depth chart.
