Looking in the cellar tonight to celebrate two events and also to drown sorrows for Team Canada loss. Thinking a nice aged Barolo have about 5 1971's still. - winsix
Nice, nice. I have a FUZION Pinot Grigio 2019 chilled with some Girls Night Out Strawberry Samba. |

...if you do painting before dinner, and need something to soak your brushes in. - Atomic Wedgie
The correct name is Egri Bikaver. Being of Hungarian descent I am quite familiar with this wine. I have visited the town of Eger in Hungary many times and the cellars in Eger have very fine Egri Bikaver (Bull's blood from the town of Eger) The stuff for export is basically plonk |

They didn’t have time to get into the specifics. It’s definitely not enough, but it’s better than nothing like so many have when they reach retirement. Especially, when you consider that new borns today will most likely not have social security. - RickJames77
That is not the message we get from the Canadian government. That fear is overblown in Canada I think.

I'd personally pair spicy doritos with a neutral beer, something like a crisp pilsner |

That's too funny, I used to be wines from Eger all the time - Aetherial
I've actually been to Eger - back in the 1990s. Cool little town.
You can go to the various wineries - they have all carved little caves into the side of "The Valley of Beautiful Women" - back in the day, you could get a glass of wine for less than 25 cents, and really crappy food. |

God damn, I have to start reading the full thread before I post.
I'm assuming you have read Eclipse of the Crescent Moon?
I've tried many times - the English translation (at least the one I have) is unreadable. |

I made some stroganoff last night using some left over Prime rib that has already been cooked and frozen even. It was still so yummy.

Hey so for you wine snobs, are there any actual good Ontario wines that you can get for under 50 bucks a bottle? |
