Nah, build from the draft. They have a good core, no need to sacrifice anything for a player who only wants a big payout. Teoscar is every bit as good as Lindor.

My son in law just spent 3 or 4 weeks in West Pubnico before Christmas. Lobster fishing, he is a Marine Engineer. |

A marine engineer isn't the same thing as a marine biologist. |

Lindor is a stud, offence and D..3rd best Defensive SS in the League. I dont see TH as a comp for him, you can have both.
anyways, whatevs...maybe he goes FA and they can sign him for free (doubtful)

Anyone catch the interview of Chamath Palihapitiya & Anthony Noto? They suggested that each new born American should get 2k that’s invested that they can’t take out until retirement. - RickJames77
Haven't heard this but this is a great idea.

It simply turned into a bigger trade for the jays. I think they wanted to trade a couple of roster players.
But im just guessing |

I think I’d rather see focus on some form of guaranteed annual income - income security for people who need it now. A byproduct of the investment stipend is it gives a big boost to those already in the markets. |

Bichette's a good SS.. Teoscar's batting is as good as Lindors. Just put him in leftfield.. |

And lo. On the bus he did see, the blonde Katy Perry. And it was good. For lo, she was hot, but witness him, she did not. Diminished, he wanders Alberta alone, forever.

Feeding the hungry is important, however it really is a band-aid solution to a long term problem. The offshoot benefits are really not relevant, The point is a relatively small investment could create a reasonable nest egg for all, outside of government and 401K incomes at retirement.

Lack of savings is a big ticking time bomb I agree. The thing is guaranteed annual income has been shown to be more about providing income stability for folks from which they can move towards full self sustainability. It’s not so much just feeding the hungry which our current patchwork of social assistance programs end up doing.

I agree on Lindor - he's excellent. Bichette is showing very good potential and at 22 years old should be a keeper. TH led the league in outfield assists last season and had his best season. If the Jays need to add, it should be a starting pitcher.
