How about cutting defense spending by 50%? There's your healthcare. - RogerRoeper
Alright, I really didn’t want this to go down the road of American politics. We hear enough of that everywhere. |

Ho much more do you anticipate Laine getting now compared to what he would have gotten on a LTD signed 2 years ago.
I don't think his cap hit will be significantly higher now than it would have been two years ago. - Leafs43
His trade value would be much higher.
His cap hit will be much higher because he won't sign for 2 years.
Term affects cap. His 2 year deal was actually the highest in terms of cap hit for a deal of that lentgh in history. |

My wife said it made my ass look big, but I said female dog, I’m wearing it anyways. I got lots of compliments. I probably should’ve used that money I spent on that for laser tattoo removal surgery but YOLO. Hey, that’s how I got myself into the other situations! Ah what the hell. |

You didn't answer the question. How much higher will Laine's cap hit be now on a 6-8 year deal compared to anticipated cap hit on a 6-8 year deal two years ago?
I don't think it will be much higher. May even be lower due to pandemic.

Nice, great value, Chili and Argentina - bixll
They are usually good deals. I think I read that it is the currency and the cost of labour.
Most of the wines I have tried from there are "good". They aren't outstanding or unique. The best description I have read is "everyday" wines. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it agrees with my own experience. I do find that inexpensive wines from there really need to breathe or be put in a decanter even. I am not a huge wine knowledge guy though.

in Europe, health systems have been going down in quality last 30 years - trying to copy the US 'privatization system'.
good level healthcare is very important - but healthcare has shifted from dealing with patients into dealing with 'clients' - which is not a good development imo.
in other words -- too much healthcare spending is a bad thing for any country. |
