The suspicioun around tge vaccine is unbelievable to me. I'm stunned how many people I talk to who ask me if I'm going to get it, as if that's a really risky thing to do. It's insane, the level of shock I'm seeing when I say unhesitatingly yes, I'll inject it myself right now if I can. People get really amazed that I trust vaccines. This thing is going to drag on way longer and cause a lot more damage because of superstitioun and scientific illiteracy. - Zezel
A friend's dad had polio as a child. It kinda removes any patience I have with anti-vaxxers.
As per your last sentence, I think poop is gonna get real in the coming weeks (it kinda already has). We are already way above the levels we saw during the last peak. - Atomic Wedgie
It's the same here. Mainly because too many young people is getting tired of not having a social life.
But very few getting seriously sick or dying thankfully.

There were guns around when I was a kid. I remember emptying a . 45 but forgot to put tge earmuffs on, ears rang after that. There was always a dead deer hanging in the garage or my uncles sawing a deer's head off, dozens of dead geese in the backyard. Wish they had tazers now

Are you really a Bills fan or just for this playoffs? I am also rooting for the Bills. - RickJames77
I've had a love/hate relationship with the Bills for 100 years.
We used to go to one game a year - an the rule was it had to be cold. We felt that if you didn't suffer in the cold, you weren't a true Bills fan. This was after their heyday, so I would always sorta hope that they would start losing after six weeks (when it was obvious they weren't making the playoffs) so that tickets would be dirt cheap.
Then, as you know, I started cheering for the Patriots in 2000. And I swear to goodness, it got boring. I get that they will be your team for life, but for me, I was "looking for new challenges" as a sports fan. I wandered back to the Bills (although I never really left).
I also cheer for the Seahawks, as I attend a game in the old Kingdome in the early 1990s. The fact that they now have neon in their uni's is just an added bonus.

Do any of the people who are suspicious about the length of time it took have any idea about vaccine development or what happens when all the pharmaceutical capacity in the world gets focused on one problem? It’s idiots being idiotic. - Canada Cup
I think that there's a legitimate concern that we don't know the mid- to long-term effects of the vaccine.
Although I would counter that we don't know the mid- to long-term effects of the virus either, so you're probably better off risking the former, not the latter.
