Hes a career .88pts per game center with no real scorers around him.
Nylander is a career .71pts per game winger
Good players will get paid, pandemic or not.

I really question the pandemic part of the equation. It really comes down to how soon you expect to see cap start to grow again. Growth won’t shrink % of hit of the contract.

Thats just my point.

Cap is very fair for 3 years....but a bad deal when you consider why they couldn't go 4-6 years.

AP probably gets a little more per year had he not signed during a pandemic. He got term but a little less aav.
Barzal is a beast. Put him on the leafs, hes getting 85 plus points easily per year.
