Dallas’ season delayed, Pitt shut down for an indeterminate time frame due to potential exposure...Svech seems to attract health issues... Hope Zadina, Fabbri, & Ryan aren’t COVID casualties, but who knows what’s really going on. Maybe the Taxi Squads should be expanded to 10?

Larsson loaned to Denmark for the season. Djoos is a decent pick-up, but that may not play out if GR decides against a season. Seems an odd acquisition...🤔

Grand Rapids is playing. Their CEO has already officially announced it. Season start date is Feb. 5th. Whether they will actually have any fans in attendance is yet TBD. I'll probably renew my AHL Live subscription to stream some of the games. Maybe I'll see their new pickup Djoos play.

Seems like Svech and Helm are both made of glass. I remember a few years ago Helm was always getting hurt.

Are teams mandated to ID players who test + as “unfit to play”? Just wondering if the teams will circumvent like they do with “lower body injury”. Would really suck if they are +, but being young & in amazing shape, hopefully won’t be bad...

Yeah, I know they SAID they’re going to play....but concern is whether or not the environment would dictate otherwise. Would really hurt to lose GR....

Svech needs a change, and maybe a health consultant. He really needs a change, been saying it for a while now.

I believe that they are, based on the “bubble rules”. They initially had to announce positive tests. When they found that almost all the retests showed is was a “false positive” and people were getting violent on Social Media, they changed all injury and illness designations. `that was a big part of getting to 100% on zero Covid cases. Apparently the machines that do the test, if you “over spin” the sample will automatically test positive.
