I don't know if you know this but Tyler Motte plays that way every game.

His 5 points in 17 games is umm marginally better than his 8 points in 34 regular season games.

He has no steps to take forward other than his scoring. To which has been really consistent for parts of 5 seasons in the NHL.

He was 352th in regular season PPG, among forwards that played 20 plus games last season.

Maybe it's time to look past just trying hard as the only quality.

Eriksson, Baertschi, Sautner, Haywrluk, Bailey, Graovac,

Unacceptable performance yesterday by Seattle. It's clear there's a disconnect in their system's and coaching. The first thing they need to fix is the offensive line to give Wilson time to throw the ball and open up the run game. Can both O & D coordinators, maybe Schneider & Carroll as well, he was badly outcoached. This team has regressed.

If you go back to the super bowl loss to the Patriots (where they had the best RB in the league with a fresh set of downs) and chose to make that pass instead there is a history of Carroll's favouritism towards Russell and many of the other players have been known not to like it. Probably some issues in the room there too. It's a factor. Surprised they haven't moved on from Carroll yet IMO.

Sucks about COVID, if some players have it or staff, that will push their start date back a week or so + condense the season even more! Tough break!

Can't disagree with any of this. Maybe they've tuned Carroll out. Changes will be coming, that effort was unacceptable.
