Got a bit sick in my mouth when I read that. It's bad enough they're heavy favorites to win the CAN division (2.20).

As far as VAN goes I'll temper my expectations again this season.

- VanHockeyGuy

There will be about 100 players going on waivers in an hour including Canucks.

I am just going to enjoy watching the games that are played. It is already a screwed up year.

I expect to be both surprised in a good way and disappointed in others. Like, I have zero expectation for Hoglander, but he could actually make an impact. I also have zero expectation for Sutter, and he will probably have zero impact... winky face

Never thought I would ever a) agree with you or b) understand your post on the first read.

Ok playoffs or no playoffs?

If they stay healthy and get good goaltending, I think they make the playoffs.

Hopefully they can just get this season in without too much disruption, finish early enough in summer for a proper off season and be ready to go in September for a more normal season

Gonna be a poop show for the waiver wire. Wonder if anyone is going to make claims?

I wouldn't mind VAN picking up Noah Juulsen if there was a way to fit him in.

Unless someone crazy gets put on waivers, I think Van is fine riding their prospects.

Florida too Forsling yesterday. I think there is going to be more than the usual number of claims this year.

Didn't he have an eye injury a couple years ago?

The experts were expecting teams to make cuts super early to sneak guys down while other teams had full rosters, but that didn’t really happen. I don’t expect much movement based on travel restrictions etc.

Loui will probably be a NHL spot for the next few days but that could change once the season starts

I was reading last night that Keith Yandle was put on the B squad in Florida by Quenville. They want to give some younger defenders a chance.

34 years old with 3 years left at 6.35. Might be on waivers today.

One fan commented that "He's an absolute poop show defensively"

Yeah I have OJ Rathbone Rafferty Briesbois and Sautner higher than him . Forsling I would have looked at but would have left things .

Just saw this from Drance on the Athletic this morning.

"We’re looking at 100+ players that will be posted on the NHL waiver wire in about 90 minutes.

Few teams have made cuts to this point and anyone you want to re-assign to the AHL or Taxi Squad needs to hit waivers today. Could be the biggest waiver day in league history."
