I've been using the Simply Piano app (free) for about a year now. I started as a supplement to my daughter's piano lessons as I made a deal with her that I would do every lesson that she got from her teacher so she wouldn't suffer through the frustration alone. I got hooked and play about an hour a every day that I'm at home. It's very easy to use and very satisfying progressing through the courses.

Both my wife and daughter are classically trained so no damned toys for me. Instead, lessons with my daughter which is fine. I can read the music (pretty much) look through book of songs and decide what I can play.
