Looking like pick3 to Miami
Tua needs a pass catcher like him
Makes too much sense to reunite them

- jdfitz77

Or Tua, 3 and 20 for Watson

Anyone wanna guess who the lowest ranked player taken was? And I give mad props for the pick. Balls the size of church bells.

That would be some Draft Day poop pulled by Houston if that happened.

Eakin is NOT a defensive center. Playing him as such would just prove my issue with Ralph. Playing against his players strengths.
- Stripes77

We don’t have a “defensive” center who’s “good” anymore
No one is “right” in that 4C spot
I’m assuming that line plays less this year than the LOG line did

Fast Larry got picked in the 24th round. He's going to put up elite numbers with crosby

I mean imagine Miami getting a true franchise QB and making a few roster moves and signing Allen Robinson...

Sheahan is the closest.

Reider Sheahan and Okposo

So handcuff Skinner and your young rookie with a center who is awful?

Makes sense.

- Stripes77

If u aren’t putting Eakin in the top9,
which I’m FAR from convinced he NEEDS to be
That doesn’t leave any great option for the 9th guy to be- UNLESS (like i said before) Mitts or Ruotsalainen wins that spot

Right now, that “9th” guy is gonna be weighing some line down no matter what
There’s no perfect answer....
INCLUDING your suggestions

We need another good forward
Right now we have 8
Maybe Quinn surprises us & he goes on a line with Skinner & Cozens??

Regardless....
you’re blaming Ralph for his lines,
when the blame should really be focused on us needing another good forward

Ok....
is it impossible to see that happening once Cozens is inserted into the lineup???

We just aren’t there yet!!!

You can mask some holes in your lineup if you’re smart.

No team is built perfect.

I suck at hockey

c
mcdavid, barzal, larkin, monahan, nelson

rw
kane, gallagher, radulov, hornqvist, tatar

lw
svechnikov, johnny hockey, forsberg, arvidsson

d
hedman, pieterangelo, krug, oel, giordano, ellis, slavin

g
hart, kuemper, francouz

I always pick a bunch of wingers that can play either wing and it looks good on paper

I expect 7th place

- homiedclown

I have to hope I win the other categories.

My team is all finesse.

Interesting how there are no head to head matchups.

40 player adds makes it tough too.

Agreed
But if Cozens is going into the lineup,
then someone is coming out
That may well be Lazar

Maybe Mitts or Ruotsalainen wins a spot?
Maybe Reider gets bumped up to line3?
Maybe a trade is made at some point?

And until we get better players- at least 1-
then we’ll have an imperfect lineup

The way the lineup is NOW,
will certainly change throughout the season
There no harm in trying some different things out!!
So just chillax & see what happens man

It has to be tempting for both teams. I expect Miami to stay the course though

Fun fact,
Skinner had 1 more goal than Olofsson in the initial 15 games, which includes Olo's blazing start of 6 PP Goals in his first 7 games. Jeff had 7 in 15, while Olo went cold in games 8 - 15 posting 6 goals. Skinner Averaged about 30 seconds more ATOI while Olo enjoyed the benefits of 1st PP time.

Net/net; Skinner outscored Olo with all his goals at EV, while Olo's goals came while they had the man advantage. Unfortunately, Olo's PP prowess fell off having only potted 5 more PP G's in the next 35 games he could play.

- IonSabres

Good post.

You look at the "non" advanced stats and olo much better.

I like both guys, but last year (skinners 1st and prime year) was extremely disappointing. Not alot of pizzazz...

Olo produced as a rookie. All time top Sabres rookie pace.

I am great at fantasy football. When I drafted for our hockey league tonight. It was like reading Chinese

I also did it on my phone. So that added to it. Since I was out for the National championship game lol

Horrible idea

no, nate or mcdavid was my only options

there is only 1 buffalo player I draft ahead of rankings

I thought about ullmark for a minute for my third goalie but the colorado guy was just sitting there for 2 go rounds and I grabbed him
