Raphael Lavoie of the Oilers playing in the Allsvenskan got 2 minutes for interference followed by 2 minutes for abuse of officials, followed by 10 minute abuse of officials followed by a 20 minute game misconduct. 34 minutes of penalties.

Tryamkin can be signed May 1 though not sure if he is free prior to that with his team in a good play-off position. That said it won't be enough games left in NHL season to have him qualify for the 1 D spot.

So why expose him plus another D that meets the requirements like Myers? I doubt that benefits Canucks unless Tryamkin can play in the play-offs and is needed to step in because of injuries.

So would Tryamkin wait, again, into July when KHL training camps open, post E-daft to get a Canuck contract?
