Oilers bottom 6 . I smell a cup . Khaira placed on waivers

Worse than ours. Didn’t realize that was possible

I bet all the bottom of most Canadian teams suck . I know Habs and Ottawa do.

Bu my rough calculations, the Canucks still have 5 players to deal with by 2 pm today.

Thanks for adding in the dashes, that was confusing as hell at first

The Canucks have a top 3 D group in the division I think. Calgary are good, Toronto and Montreal are top heavy.

That third pairing on Edmonton is like two halves of one good defenseman

I apologize, I put in spaces between them on here and it recognizes it when I type it but when I hit submit, the spaces between just go away. I don't know.

I should have added this to the thing but
GA per team last season
Ottawa 3.35
Toronto 3.17
Vancouver 3.10
Montreal 3.10
Calgary 3.06
Edmonton 3.03
Winnipeg 2.83

I think Vancouver probably has the best D. Calgary is 2nd. I gave the edge to Myers over Nesterov. Mtl 3rd and Edmonton 4th. Wpg 5th, Toronto 6th and Ottawa That's Van of 17-18

I know they do. I was looking at Oilers top 6 and it gets very thin after McJeezus and Drai.

Marky won't also be getting 40 shots from the blue line either next year so I think his numbers will drop.

I still think CGY made a big mistake for a 30 year old goalie that has had 3 groin injuries in the last two years. I think Markstrom is a good goalie but not elite.

- VANTEL

I was ok keeping Marky for less term and at 5.5 mil. But still very risky and I understand why MNGT moved on. Can't do term and 6 mil per for what he was bringing especially with questions around injuries.

Vesey ahead of Hyman I doubt it. and Perrault was on waivers so I doubt he's going to be in over Harkins.

It was the NMC that was the deal breaker on Marky.

I thought they could sign him for more but I sure did not want to. I honestly thought he should be paid 4.5 and was very glad to see Benning make that offer and not budge.

I do think he is good but I said before I don't think he is elite and there were many options available this year around that range that could have been signed.

I liked Marky but I’m confident Calgary fans will look back at the signing in similar disdain as we do with Loui. It won’t end well. Injuries and his drinking will lead to his downfall

"What I am hearing is that Eriksson & Benn remain up here, Baertschi will be going to Utica & they're mulling over their last decisions in terms of taxi squad.”

"Hamonic, that will become official today, 1-year, $1.2-million"

#Canucks send Gadjovich, Jasek, Lind, Lockwood, Teves, Woo and Kielly to Utica. No surprise there.

Same.

Shrewd move, but all things considered, it was the right one. It kept things on course for the progression of that position without locking it down for 6 years. You only do that with a franchise Goalie. Marky is not that.

Its not February yet. That's when the Green light will be given to send LE to Utica. As long as the new guys/PK hold their own and no major injuries.
