Do the Canucks turn back the clock and undo the Bearcheese trade all together. Waive him and grab Kylington? He only makes $787,500 and its a 2way deal. Cheap depth play for D.

I don't think so . I don't expect them to be active with waiver pick ups. Canucks have Rathbone OJ Briesbois Sautner already on the left .

Kylington is an equivalent of Fantenberger.

Canucks aren't going to claim anyone. They'd have to keep them on the main roster, and someone elses scraps aren't better than ours.

Let's hope LE retires.

Florida didn't even pick up Kylington so his hockey cred took a hit. He is not even on the top of the waiver wire dumps , so sad. Fittingly neither is Baertschi on the elite waiver dumps either.

I would like to think that if Baertschi had a 750k cap hit, a team would claim him

Kylington has skill, but he is a liability out there. He’s like Risto without the ice time and deployment. Only 23 so he could be a good depth guy who could develop.

Squire Barns said a false positive was the cause of the cancellations. All good.

You would have to acquire Andersson not kylington to undo the trade

23 and being sent down the third year in a row pretty well makes you a tweener. Probably why Florida did not claim him.

Just a random thought, but I was thinking how Hoglander may have a legitimate chance to be up for the Calder once this season is over.

-He's been playing in Europe and is already in peak game form.

-This should give him a massive jump on just about everyone else.

-A hot start should give him tons of confidence to ride in a shortened season, too.

So the idea of 4 Canuck rookies in a row being in Calder consideration seems possible. That would be nuts if that's the case.

I'll put my pom poms back down now.

3x Calder finalists in a row is already a record.

I don't doubt that. I just meant it would be nuts since it's happening for us lol.

Why not? He should be getting some PP2 time too.

Wonder if we'll see him and Boeser trade places here and there as well as slumps happen. Time with Petey is a good thing

i dont think much has happened. I know Nucker came in and said he wanted to do it again, and I think one or two guys dropped out, but haven't seen any updates.

Why stop there? When Podkolzin comes over and lights the league on fire the Canucks could have two of the top 3 Calder finalists.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Juolevi also was a finalist this year?

Canucks could announce Hamonic deal tomorrow.
