Montreal.......because they can, and we all know the favorite rarely wins, so no Avs.

First I'd love the cup to come home to Canada as much as the next Canadian, but realistically thats not happening with the current teams.

Secondly the Avs weren't better than Tampa last year, Tampa's year couldn't have gone their way any more, it was theirs to lose.

Now for this year its a total guess just like every other year, we will have injuries, hot streaks by teams that weren't expected, its all a crap shoot.
Some years the favorites end up Champs, Other years you can have the underdog pulling off the upset. Thats the great part of all of this, the things we can't actually predict, the things that make you scratch your head, its very true with the saying its better to be lucky than good. With a little luck and a lot of determination you never know what can happen. My pick for the finals hasn't been calculated, or analyzed to all hell, its just my gut feeling, and its NY Islanders Vs Vegas, with Vegas winning in 6 games. Guess I'll come back in July and see if I was right!!!

Why will someone other than the Avalanche win the Cup? Because, for whatever reason, Colorado tends to lose A LOT to Pacific teams and St Louis/Minnesota. Even the Coyotes.
