Yep. So, with our current cap hit if he achieves any of those bonuses we would actually be over the cap if we didn’t drop any salary between now and then.

Greene's bonus contract seems more about Cap mgmt. than really performance bonuses. Once they couldn't move Leo or Hickey they did this and will worry about it next year. Expansion draft could see them lose a contract and/or trade someone at deadline where a team has needs and is less worried about Cap b/c of injuries.

I am excited to see Buldoc, Bellows and Sorokin perform. It's going to be fun...

As far as Buldoc playing opening night.. that would be surprising to me. We have our 6 in Pelech/Pulock, Mayfield/Leddy, dobson/Greene .... There is no AHL yet so feel like they are keeping him up here to work with the big club until AHL camp starts.

I don't think it means a whole lot. May even be some sort of cap implications having Bellows vs. Wahlstrom on the actual "roster". For all we know Trotz could "call up" Bellows before tomorrow's game and send Wahlstrom to the taxi squad.

Just saw Trotz quoted on Twitter as saying both are going to get playing time this season, so I'm sure there will be a lot of flip flopping between them.

I would guess that we don't see Bolduc in an Isles jersey this year unless there is some sort of unmitigated disaster on the blueline. He'll be best served playing bigger minutes in BPT. It's encouraging that Trotz thought he had a very strong camp though.
