How many people is TK bff with exactly? Because Tomahawk mentioned Frost a few days earlier. - PT21
Him and Patty have been best buds since they were drafted. But in fun media interviews players always say two best friends on team are Raffl-Laughts then TK-Patty |

Sucks having to think really hard to remember the one or two fights this roster has been in the past three seasons. - SuperSchennBros
Yeah but it’s not like we have guys backing down from fights. The fights just aren’t happening league-wide it seems. Now that you mention it though, I can’t even think of our last fight lol! Maybe Nate Thompson? |

Everything to me reeks of at least the presence of PCS. Not migraines alone. It doesn't usually take close to 2 years to find triggers of migraines, especially with millions to spend and millions to lose. We will see I guess. I know we have hashed it out here to exhaustion.
- PT21
Yeah but we also don't have the outside world circumstances and timing that occurred during this stretch. By most accounts he was scheduled to return before the season ended had it continued in normality. So that was scuttled. Then the decision was made to keep him out of the playoffs because it really wasn't the best decision to throw him right in to that situation after being out for the time he was. You may point to Lindblom, but he had at least played meaningful games in the same season and was already acclimated to AV's system. |

Thompson and Hagg both fought Wilson in the same game, this team isn’t intimidated by anyone. |

That's all I care about. Couldn't care less how often they fight, just don't be pushed around. |

They declined yesterday to be more specific than "unfit to play." If it is related to a positive COVID test, his name would show up in the report the NHL will start releasing now that the season is underway (numbers of players overall, per team, and which ones).
But since Gostisbehere is on the 23-man roster and not IR, it's likely that it's not anything that will keep him out an extended time. If he's back for practice tomorrow, he'd probably play Friday. If he doesn't practice tomorrow, I doubt he'll play Friday. - bmeltzer
Thanks so much for the response and in-depth information. You're the best, Bill! We're lucky to have you |

Everybody seems to like Raff. Maybe the most popular guy on the team?
Hayes is probably not far behind.

But the doctors were not affected by all the things you mention, nor was the investigation of triggers.
Tad dubious, the bolded part. It's the blooming playoffs! He was ready, he is your 3C and you don't even take him along because "the time is not right?"
I was actually more interested in pointing out a certain dissonance.

More holes here than swiss cheese. Do you have access to the medical timeline and when the doctors determined what the triggers were? After they determine a cause, it's then normally a process of finding an effective treatment. During the time he was undergoing that process, was he skating and practicing? Was he in game shape. How did you not understand that what MB was stating is that he was not ready. That it was determined that he was not ready to play playoff hockey.
Another example of how elementary things need to be explained to a scholar and an academic. |

There's a game tonight?
J/K though the 5:30 start time is (frank)ing with me. Work until sometime after 5 depending on workload so...stay at work and watch Period 1 here then boogie home at intermission and still miss half of Period 2 or just wait and watch from the beginning on the DVR.
the struggle is real. |

Looking at the format of the playoffs, teams that finally emerge out of their divisions to compete in the semi-finals will have played 2 teams in their division a minimum of 12 games apiece, and possibly as much as 15 games apiece.
Good grief. I wonder if Morin may see some 'action' after all. |

Super stoked for the start of the season. After getting eliminated by the Isles, my typically cynical self was not overly optimistic about this season unless some changes were made. And those changes have hopefully come in the form of getting Lindblom & NoPa back in the lineup. Of course my excitement is based on the mostly positive reviews of these two players from camp. If Lindblom truly is back to his pre-illness form, and NoPa can play in the games the way he has reportedly looked in camp, then it can't be overstated how much of a boost that would be for this team.
Losing Nisk is big. We'll just have to see how it goes back there I guess. Hopefully that year with Nisk has helped prepare Provy to become the alpha dog we envision him to be. And obviously the Sanhiem/Myers pair is going to have to take another step forward in their development to help with the heavy lifting.
Overall, I like the projected opening night lines. There's some "if's" that will have to play out, but in general the depth really jumps out as a plus. Still with we had that one player that other teams have to account/adjust for every time they take the ice (like Barzal in our playoff series) but I think they can still be very successful without that guy.
I worry a little about that 3rd line. Fact is NoPa hasn't played NHL hockey in a long time. And now we're flanking him with two guys that aren't exactly known for their defense. Hopefully being the "3rd line" will allow AV to get them in favorable matchups. I expect that 4th line to bring a lot of energy and could end up being very fun to watch. Sorry about the long post, got carried away. Let's Go Flyers! |

As a fan of hockey: the Penguins are still the Penguins as long as they have Crosby and Malkin. It should be a tough game (8 times) even though I expect them to have a down year.
As a Flyers fan: Hell yeah the Pens suck!
Let's go boys! |

Depends on how he progresses from here I guess....can he stay healthy ? The management seems pretty excited about his progress so hopefully he adds something to the team that they are looking for. |
