Why don't you bring this to the attention of the Canucks and show them how great Myers is, Myers has only been in the league for 12 years now, I can't believe no NHL personnel has figured out how great he is. - manvanfan
You don't think QH had better zone stats with TM over other righties?? fine... doesnt change the facts though.

This is a Canuck army article but it does support what you are saying.
https://canucksarmy.com/2...eman-play-best-last-year/ - bloatedmosquito
One of the best parts of this article is that is completely fails to talk about usage of when the pairs were used.
"It seems to be that Myers is a top-four defender only when paired with another top-four-quality player. He just doesn’t have it in him to carry a partner, and that’s consistent with his recent history in Winnipeg."

Then its not what was posted in the past. Plus, I pulled some stats in the past using the site that was in the article. - boonerbuck
? I’m agreeing with you. The article suggests Hughes plays better with Myers than without. |

I don't like how he's lost every pick battle against the boards that he's gotten in, but I can't deny his mitts... - Pres.cup
He's won plenty of battles, isn't afraid to mix it up and get dirty.

I agree. That’s why I mentioned Canuck Army first. You always have to double check their work. |

He has, especially around the net, fighting for possession, it's against the boards that I've seen him rubbed out a few times, loses a bit of ice to make a move.
If he plays like this, I am happy to eat crow and say I was wrong.
That being said, Podz will have a better career. |

We all know TG doesn't coach the players.
It's one game, even i'm surprised. Well, i'm not but I am. I watched him play at least a dozen times in SHL this year. |

I haven't see him lose board battles. Quick strong stick down low. Podz will be a great compliment to Bo's line with Hogs. |
