I’m thinking Dobson & Sororkin will be our nice things👍 - Vukota
I’m hoping trotz throws Sorokin out there tonight solely because I can’t wait to see him play. Same with Dobson, Bellows, Wahlstrom, along with whothe(frank)ever I can’t wait to watch some hockey. |

Need a godamn center!!! - mdw7413
For once I think the Rangers and their fans should have to wait rather then getting the usual instant gratification they’re used too. |

On a serious note. Do you think The BJ's trade Dubois quickly or wait and see how they do before making a trade? If you look at it the 5 million per is a great cap hit and if they trade for prospects and picks that not going to replace Dubois now.

He is on IR.. Capfriendly inadvertantly listed him at LTIR and corrected it yesterday to IR. |

I'm thinking they let it play out for whatever reason. It seems whenever a player demands a trade it takes a while to really happen |

if he said he wants to leave you can't really keep him on the team. He had a great playoff last year so it's not likely his trade value will go higher and unless you think you can convince him to change his mind you can't have a guy in the locker room that wants to leave.. for whatever reason... (Torts). My guess is they move him quickly.

Well, my opinion as Sakic did with Duchene you don't trade a player of that quality without getting what you want and need back in return. The player shouldn't drive what the return here is. Dubois needs to perform whether on the Jackets or another team. If he doesn't it will bite him in the ass at the end.
This could be in a day or a year, but they are going to wait to get the value they want imho. |

Agreed Chiefs, Davidson also has a pretty good relationship there
If they are putting Ladd on LTIR ( which I have been waiting for since year 2 of his poop deal ) I would think a proven scoring wing for Barzal and PP1 would be in their target. That said Beau, and Sorokin need contracts next year so just having some Cap space would be nice. It would give us Ladd's 5 million of relief ( if needed ) and Casey's 3.9 coming off the books. Also if we are playing well and truly competitive for the Cup, having that relief would come in handy to sign a needed player at the deadline. Looking at the isles up the middle I don't see Dubois or another center as you said on their radar.
Just my opinion of course. - nyisles7
If ladd was going on ltir it would have been Tuesday as thats when you max the most cap space for the season |

I'm new to hockey so I'm just glad I have Ek and posters like Rodger Roeper to explain the finer points of the game to me. And when it comes to the Cap and issues there of then of course I am grateful for others like .... never mind. - nyisles7
