Rod should absolutely go to the fourth line, Tanev doesn't deserve to be there. I liked his line last night. They were our best line.

Couple of my hockey buds I played with tonight are big time Avs fans. They're younger than me and got into hockey when the Avs were a powerhouse. At hockey this evening they didn't have anything nice to say at all about their game last night. Disgusted with pretty much every player. At least we had some positives in game 1.

If Kapanen is going to come in short order, then just keep the place holder at 1RW and keep that third line in tact. They looked good and I want to see if they jell further.

I think I heard last night Jankowski and Tanev were linemates in college. They were actually there the sane four years and it wasn't that long ago. Both graduated in 2016. Probably helped them click.

Yes you are correct, I definitely liked that line. I just hope they keep the chemistry. Obviously they won't score every night but I liked the line even if they hadn't scored.

Schultz will look good in the offensive zone and he doesn't make a ton of glaring mistakes. But he'll get pinned in his end all the time because he almost never gets the puck back and for an offensive defenseman isn't great at getting the puck up ice.
