While I would love to get Barkov, they have no reason to move him. It would have to be a massive overpayment by us compared to getting Dubois, a player who wants out. - mdw7413
Well, the issue Florida has is a bit different. They might not have the money to resign Barkov, compounded with the fact that Barkov may want to test free agency to get out of Florida. CBJ knows theyll get something for PLD, FLA does not if Barkov decides to walk. No one is gonna touch Barkov without a guarantee that he will resign.

I still haven’t seen it. But I believe it. Did Manson actually ever do anything? Feel like he just told his groupies to do everything for him lol - TPC

Yeah, I just think the Barkov thing just might be a lot of speculation. You tend to hear those things a lot with players coming up to being a UFA. It might all be legit, but I'm skeptical for now.

Is this sarcasm? Lol
I honestly don’t know the full story - TPC
No I'm being serious. He never got his hands dirty with the cult he formed. I think earlier in his life he had offenses for armed robbery and other stuff.
There was some weird connection to the beach boys though. Can't remember what it was

Oh yea he was friends with the drummer Dennis. I remember he stayed at his house for a bit with the groupies. Franked up haha

Of course its all speculative... however I will keep chanting it into the hockey gods ears in hopes it happens.
What the (frank) does that say about Dennis?! - mdw7413
Hahah true. The dude was on drugs though and a hipster surfer. So it kind of made sense he had no clue who the man really was. Just saw him as a guy he could party with

Yeah, I did know that. The beach boys came across as a wholesome bunch of guys but were hard core partiers

I love watching documentaries on bands. Can do that all day - TPC
Me too. I've watched so many. Ginger Baker doc was (frank)ed up. Muscle Shoals was eye opening as was The Wrecking Crew (speaking of the Beach Boys). Actually saw Iggy wear a shirt in the Stooges doc .

I need to see the Ginger Baker one. I watched one recently on Oasis. I honestly couldn’t understand 2 words Liam and Noah said the entire film. All I could make out is they hated each other lol
