I’d imagine so.

He could maybe spark them.

If nothing else, his reactions are priceless.

I'm always afraid he's going to stroke out on the bench. Seriously.

So I watched highlights of Roslovic. Seems he's good at tipping pucks and scores a lot of his goals around the net in close Seems to have a pretty solid shot.

Im ok with Roslovic if they can get him.

FWIW... Peg had a scout watching the Pens game today. Add a little bit a fuel to the fire.

So roslovic?
- 10inchTerror

I don’t know anything about him. I don’t care who it is as long as they score goals at 5v5.

Was just telling Rino, Roslovic seems to be good around the net, good a tipping pucks good at getting rebounds. Has a good shot as well when he has the space. I'd have to check and see how many of those came 5v5.

Edit: Last season 11 of his 12 goals were even strength.

Of course. What a stupid (frank)ing trade that was. Riikola is better than Matheson, just watch.

ES goal, too. Weren't we just saying we need more ES goal scorers, right wingers, and a net-front presence? Horny checks all of those boxes. Not to mention heart and soul and a playoff performer. This team is gutted.

Keep in mind he’s playing with Huberdeau and Wennberg on the 2nd line. In Pitt he always seemed to get pushed to the 3rd line the last couple years.

Pretty confident Kap will start the season on the fourth line. Probably never leave it either.

LOL!

I am looking forward to seeing what Kap can do with Crosby and Guentzel, along with everyone else in Penguinland.

Second and third lines look like they are set in stone. Sure, the second line needs to wake up but they aren't going anywhere.

Sceviour showed some cohesiveness with Blueger on his goal, along with some occasional cycling. Rodrigues will be an upgrade from Lafferty. So there is some hope on the horizon.

Matheson on IR, gives Riikola a shot. With new eyes behind the bench, maybe he sticks.

Geno and Rust need to wake up. Seems like Zucker is ready to go.

I get the reasons why we traded him but who we got was the bad part.

I love Horny and I get those reasons, too. I'm usually in favor of staying ahead of the curve. However, it was at least a year too early (not like we got any value for him this year anyway) and this team still needs him desperately in a lot of ways.

Curious what the Matheson injury is? I think best case scenario would be his equipment is itchy, ala Hossa, and the contract gets buried.

Would love to get Roslovic. He seems like a guy who could do well with Sid or Geno. Only concern is what you are paying and what kind of shape is he going to be in without a camp.

With Matheson on LTIR the possibility of Fleury coming back gets more real... just saying.

Way too early in what will be a weird season to jump to conclusions but if they are going to make a major move it needs to come early.

Where did you hear Matheson was going on LTIR? I have only heard he is out 'longer term'. I don't know what 'longer term' means but I guess you can surmise it means LTIR.

Good point. Anyone think Matheson's injury is suspicious? Probably not, but having all of that salary is pretty handy.
