The better team takes the direction away. Seriously, have you ever seen a last place team in any sport look "well coached?" They're all train wrecks. - rpeters01 it’s not that simple. I keep saying it but it matters with a young team and roster turnover when there is little or no training camp. With that being said I don’t think JC is the right coach for a rebuild |

My 36 was the lowest prediction and may be overly optimistic. - rpeters01
Well if we keep seeing the same bullcrap sooner or later both Colliton and Bowman will act on it.
Probably.
Queeneville must be saying to himself, how the mighty Blackhawks have fallen. |

Only 1 goal 5x5 in 3 games, only 3 forwards (plus Murphy) have scored.
On the Plus side: special teams have been good, even tho they gave up one on the PK tonite. |

A first year pee wee goalie has better fundamentals than Delia. Might as well give him a forwards stick. He has more interest in passing the puck than stopping it. |

What exactly does a track coach do? Yell "run faster." - rpeters01
It depends on the event. Sprinting is very technical. In fact there’s been a change over time to rather than pushing off your trail foot it is better to pull with your lead leg.
Distance running, especially marathons, is much more about designing training plans that take runners up to 150 + miles per week without breaking them down and causing injuries. And tapering is more art than science.
Field events? NFI. Those guys were in another world. |

Except so far the lack of training camp is effecting us more than our opponents. Maybe we're bad hmm? When you're small slow and bad all you can do is chase like your head is cut off, at least until you decide to stand and just watch. |

Agree. I liked the pk. But again no purpose or direction on offense. What is the system? I can’t figure it out.

Cmon I think you’re smarter than that. It’s obvious it will impact a younger team more than it would a veteran group with a veteran coach like Q. Two of those games were against the SC champs |

While only scoring 2. Pretty sure they'll go 53-0 from here though. |

Delia is our best goalie at doing a "forward 2.5 in the pike position." |

It'll get worse. This club will yield double figures several times.
over/under for this group is about 25 points.
Redwings and Hawks will be fighting for the most ping pong balls. |

Hawks will definitely be drafting very high. Not sure exactly where but chances are we’ll be adding another top end prospect(plus the return of Dach).
The current losses suck, sure it’s no fun being a bottom feeder...but the future is bright. |

Unless you're the Oilers that's usually the way it gets better. |

I simply think we're icing a team that would struggle to make the playoffs in the AHL and blaming the coach who is surely a cheap placeholder for now is not constructive. There are few young guys on this team who will matter next time we're good. I don't count all the bottom 6 forwards they're a dime a dozen. Boqvist, Mitchell, Carlson and Beaudin are it for now. |

Boqvist is simply not ready for the NHL. It’s unfortunate that we have to wait another two weeks for him to be sent down to Rockford. He was taken off the PP and not sure what D-Man is served best to babysit him right now. Give Carlsson a shot already. He can at least hold his own in the defensive zone.
Also Kubalik still not being on the PP is criminal. |

After an historically bad season the Hawks will draft to 4th after the draft lottery. |

The future isn't bright with AHL caliber goaltending and an AHL coach behind the bench. |

JC’s handling of Kubalik is confusing to say the least.
I’d give Kalynuk a shot and shot Boqvist, it can’t hurt. |
